Barnalee Sarkar
has been practicing and studying Indian classical dances for over 30 years. Formerly a student of Nrityagram founded by the late Pratima Gauri, who has been an enduring influence in her life. Through her own school of performing arts, Shubham, at JP Nagar, Bangalore, she has trained over 200 students in Odissi and Kathak. She is also a trustee at Samiksha Foundation, caring for children with cancer, a NGO based in Bangalore. A wife, and a mother of two, she is a formidable woman. Of Indian Origin is so privileged to have her as a brand ambassador.
